Crowns & Bridges

Dental crowns are fixed dental prosthetics that restore the appearance, function, and structure of damaged or missing teeth.
- Crowns are placed to restore severely broken down or worn teeth, Can be used to improve the appearance, shape, or alignment of a tooth
- Can be used to cover a dental implant
- Can be made of porcelain, ceramic, metal alloys or gold
Bridges are a combination of crowns and artificial teeth that replace missing teeth. In a conventional bridge design, the teeth adjacent to the gap are grinded as they would be for crowns. The bridge consists of a false tooth (called a pontic) which is permanently joined to the crowns on either side.
